  1. I also want to thank CPKC for this tour. However, we still do not have information regarding travel times for the locomotive. For example, the engine will travel form Franklin Park to Davenport sometime between 8 PM on May 8 and 2 PM on May 10. Then the engine has over a week to get to Kansas City. This makes it difficult to arrange time off work to watch it operate.

  2. This is a treasure from an era that really wasn’t that long ago… Mark this date if this schedule is anywhere near you. I believe this is the first Canadian steam locomotive to run this route and we have an opportunity to view it in full steam action.
Thanks CPKC !!!! Excellent PR for an ingenuous Class 1 railroad that brings our continent together. We have one chance to build together, be productive and drop the corporate greed that seems to have consumed our nation”s intelligence. Our migrant workers deserve our thanks for doing the work no one else seems to care about doing. This productiveness keeps us all working together and we need to wake up. We can be civil as people and intelligently work through our differences. Let’s make our world a better, NOT bitter, planet,
