ORANGE, Calif. — Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner has introduced a railcar wrapped with a limited-time design celebrating the 70th anniversary of Disneyland, an event the state-supported passenger operation is also marking with special promotions.
The wrapped car was unveiled and entered service on Wednesday, June 25.
“We are thrilled to be part of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration,” said Fred Jung, chair of the LOSSAN Agency — which oversees Surfliner service — said in a press release. “Taking the Pacific Surfliner to one of the world’s most iconic and beloved destinations makes magical memories start the moment your journey begins.”
As part of the anniversary event, Surfliner passengers now can take advantage of three special offers:
— A 5% discount on standard part tickets and a special Disneyland Anniversary Ticket Offer for three- and four-day tickets, valued through Aug. 14. The Disney ticket savings are available after Surfliner tickets are purchased.
— A 20% discount on Surfliner tickets to Anaheim, available by using promo code V712. That discount is available only on adult Surfliner fares and cannot be combined with any other ticket offer.
— Free shuttle service to the park, available from the Anaheim station by presenting the Amtrak ticket to board an Anaheim Regional Transportation shuttle.
