ATLANTA — Rail equipment firm Stadler has opened a new office for its Signalling Division in Atlanta, the first major international expansion of that division.

The location in Uptown Atlanta, next to the Lindbergh Center MARTA station and adjacent to MARTA headquarters; Stadler says that choice was intended to “strengthen the partnership with MARTA while also meeting Stadler’s standards as a modern and attractive employer.”
Stadler’s connection with MARTA also includes a $600 million contract for new railcars, the first of which had their public debut in January [see “Atlanta’s MARTA unveils …,” News Wire, Jan. 31, 2025].
“As one of the driving forces behind Stadler’s growth in North America, our new location represents a significant investment in our future success in the region,” Lucy Andre, CEO of Stadler Signaling North America, said in a press release. “This new signaling office in Atlanta will allow us to further innovate and enhance our cutting-edge signaling technology for our clients right here and in general in the US market.”
