WAUKESHA, Wis. — Trains, the world’s largest railroad media brand, is pleased to announce the addition of Associate Editor Bob Lettenberger to the crew producing the magazine, website, documentary videos, and experiences.
Lettenberger comes to Trains from the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay, Wis., where he was education director. He brings to the magazine talents in editing, photo selection, video, and other areas.
“I have known Bob personally for more than 20 years, and I am excited to have him on board,” says Trains Editor Jim Wrinn. “Bob brings a strong passion for our subject and our mission to educate and entertain our audience. We are fortunate to have him join our crew.”
“It is an honor to join the Trains staff,” Lettenberger says. “Helping share the stories of railroading with Trains readers will be an incredibly exciting experience. I am looking forward to the challenge.”
In addition to editing feature stories, Lettenberger will manage the Ask Trains and Train Watching departments in the print product, and will be deeply involved in the production of stories, video, and other content for trains.com. His first day is Feb. 28.
Trains encompasses the 82-year-old print product as well as features and the daily News Wire at trains.com. Trains is also pleased to feature a line of documentary videos available in DVD. The brand also offers railroad tours and photo events.
