The hearing for FRA nominee David Fink, Amtrak nominee Robert Gleason, and two other officials — David Fogael, assistant secretary of commerce, and Pierre Gentin, general counsel of the Department of Commerce — will be held at 10 a.m. ET on May 13, 2025. It will be streamed live on the committee website. A direct link was not immediately provided, although a YouTube channel for Commerce Republicans is here and one for its Democrats is here.

Fink, former president of Pan Am Railways, was announced as the FRA nominee in December [see “Trump names former Pan Am president …,” Trains News Wire, Dec. 21, 2024]. The nomination of Gleason, president of an insurance firm and former head of the Republican Party in Pennsylvania, came in March [see “Trump nominates Robert Gleason …,” News Wire, March 12, 2025].
