CN makes $100,000 donation to remote air-rescue service in Canada

Funds will support operations of STARS in Saskatchewan

Canadian National logoREGINA, Saskatchewan — Canadian National Railway has made a C$100,000 donation to Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service, which provides emergency medical car to remote locations in Western Canada. The donation will help fund STARS’ operations in Saskatchewan, providing direct support to communities along CN’s network.

“The service STARS provides often means the difference between life and death for those in urgent need,” CN CEO Tracy Robinson said in a press release. “We, at CN, are proud to support the efforts of this outstanding team. As a former Board member of STARS, I understand the important role this organization plays in the lives of so many communities, including Saskatchewan. I encourage all companies with a presence in Saskatchewan to donate generously to this incredible organization.”
