AUSTIN, Texas — Austin’s Capital Metro has resumed Saturday service on its 31-mile commuter rail line between downtown and Leander, Texas, six months after suspending the service.
KVUE-TV reports that the service resumed Jan. 11. It had been suspended in June 2019 to accommodate work to implement positive train control, as well, as construction of a new downtown station.
