NRHS convention trips selling out NEWSWIRE

NRHS is selling events for its annual convention in conjunction with the transcontinental railroad anniversary. Some events are already sold out.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – With registration open one week for the National Railway Historical Society’s annual convention in May, the nation’s largest railroad enthusiast organization is reporting that some events are sold out, NRHS told members Sunday.

The convention is May 7-12 in Salt Lake City in conjunction with the 150th anniversary of the first transcontinental railroad on May 10.

NRHS says the Wednesday, May 8, UTA Fun Ride, Event 8000, is full. The convention committee is working on adding a second section. It also said the Saturday, May 11, Heber Valley Excursion Train Trip, Events 1110 (Table Car) 1120 (Business Car) and 1130 (Caboose) are sold out. No space can be added to these events. Coach tickets are still available.
