Wow! What amazing scenery! And rolling stock! And smooth operation! Great work, Lee!
An excellent layout! In the mid-1990’s I visited the museum in Wenatchee, Washington. They have a large train layout depicting the Great Northern Railway through the Cascade Mountains of Washington. Lee’s layout reminded me of the one in the museum. Thank you!
There is a short version of a baggage car in the yard photo. It looks to be a wood side car; was there a prototype? Was this ever published in MR? It would seem to lend itself to a smaller layout.
The panel looks like it’s set up for block control rather than DCC. I’m an old guy, and using the old DPDT switches is familiar to me. DCC is still in the realm of magic. 🙂

Looks great !Reynold
Very nice! I would like to see more. A cab view video would be great also.
I like the close coupling of the F units, as it really helps the realism of the rolling stock.
Really like the scenery, especially the rock formations. Wish my trains ran that smoothly! Thanks for sharing.

Very nice model railroad. Waited months to see this gem in print.

🙂 Very nice railroad, and great video. If there’s a longer version of this video, I hope you’ll post it.
Very well done short video. Excellent scenery with the rock formations and long train rail action on the Cascade Division.-Greg
Good, and at least two Monads in the consist. Awfully clean looking FT’s.
