For the second consecutive year, Indiana Northeastern Railroad, Little River Railroad, and the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society will play host to the Cameron Christmas Train, a three-day tour of northeastern Indiana, southeastern Michigan, and western Ohio set for Nov. 20-22 to mark the holiday season and deliver gifts to families along the route.
The event is sponsored by Cameron Health, with support from Cardinal Glass Industries, Meijer of Hillsdale, and Hillsdale College. The concluding day will feature Little River steam locomotive No. 110, the diminutive 4-6-2 built by Baldwin in 1911 billed as the smallest standard-gauge Pacific in the world.
“Last year’s inaugural Cameron Christmas Train was a remarkable experience and the perfect way to combine our culture and history with the spirit of the holiday season,” Cameron Health CEO Angie Logan said in a press release. “This event directly connects Cameron with the communities we serve, and families at each stop will once again be able to see Santa arrive by train, meet his helpers, and receive gifts at each stop along the way.”
The Christmas Train schedule:
— Thursday, Nov. 20: Edon, Ohio, to South Milford, Ind.
— Friday, Nov. 21: Pleasant Lake, Ind., to Reading, Mich.
— Saturday, Nov. 22: Hillsdale, Mich., to Coldwater, Mich.

The Cameron Christmas Train debuted last year, serving more than 8,000 residents and reaching more than 250,000 spectators in person and online.
