  1. Is that truck by the Fertilizer Plant an Mobel Railroader anniversary addition (I saw it said MR&T on it)? If so, where can I get one?

  2. This was a great summary with tons of parical information – thank you and keep us going!!

  3. This was one of the very best series for a project layout!

A couple of quick observations though. Trains should run a scale speeds. When handling cars, keep your fingers off…they leave prints which over time look terrible and photograph even worse! No fingers when uncoupling. Finally, a little back-drop work would help.

What a fantastic junction. When combined with the Wisconson & Southern as well as the Winter Hill branch along with the mainline passing through the area makes for an interesting operation. I love it when you work on your layout and the viedo journal is exceptional! Thank you.

  4. This video series was great. I especially liked the detailed background for each industry modeled. Any chance of a video compilation of the Bay Junction project?

  5. Great job people it gave me some ideas for my own layout
Watch the whole thing in one go looked very empressive
    keep up the good work

  6. Perfect – this has to be the wave of the future. Magazine articles with video support and behind the 'pages' views and commentary. The learnings from this project are invaluable and more than justify the subscription in order to have access to it. Please have more…

  7. Just makes me melancoly to watch as I don't have a place to put up my old layout, the P.R.V.R. But you guys did a great job on the Bay Junction R.R.

  8. Just about a perfect culmination to all your previous planning and construction. Great pacing, informative, good explanations at each position, nicely integrated with smooth, crisp editing. Good music that was also kept away during the verbal comments so we could hear easily while watching varied shots of layout and moving stock. VERY nicely done!

  9. Great series. Would like to see more of them. Very helpful construction hints. Buildings show nice imagination and great variety. It looks like many of the buildings are sitting on top of the ground and not "in it".

  10. What I've been able to watch of the video looks great. The video is completely loaded, but I've only been able to watch the first half. It keeps stopping and wants to start over.

  11. I would like to see this done more often and even put on a DVD in the Dream, Plan, Build series

  12. amazing stuff, alot of detail and information about each scene of the project well done…..

  13. Fantastic job guys. A great idea for a project layout. I hope in the future you'll use another portion of the MR&T due for an up-grade as your project for the year. I think you do your best work when you know you'll be running on it. The video series was a great addition to the articles in the magazine, thanks David for your great work. And, thanks to all the editorial staff for the excellent work on each of your portions on the layout. This is why MR is the leading magazine in the field.

  14. An excellent photo series. I've enjoyed seeing the Layout come
together and learning from the tips that the staff told us about.
Thank you. Keep up the great work and have a Happy day.

  15. Thank You for sharing all of your construction techniques with all of us on the Bay Junction. Outstanding work folks!!!

  16. Thank you for a great series. I really enjoyed watching all the videos and seeing the end result.

  17. Have awaited every Thurs. for the next installment of the Bay Junction. This has been a very good tool to show all skill levels of modelers what can be accomplished with a little thinking and how your skills can be made better by trying new things. Hope you find a new venue for a future series on building a layout. Great job done by you all Thanks again B.

  18. Congratulations to all of you staffers there at MR! You've done a fabulous job not only completing another section of the MR&T, but also of showing us how you did it in step-by-step articles each month in MR, and excellent videos in the MR.com newsletters we receive in our email in-boxes each week. A very complete package using several media forms that I found fun and informative, and which has kept me interested for several months now. It also was neat to see how you guys have fun with model railroading and work together to produce articles for MR while continuing development of the MR&T. Keep up the great work and thanks for making MR and MR.com so fun and interesting…I continue to learn a lot each time I open the mag or log on to your site. Well done!
