  1. Thanks, Dave. It would be interesting to hear how you deal with a locomotive when its wheels are out of gauge. What tools do you use to get the wheels back into gauge? Can you do that without removing the wheels?

    1. James, good question! I find the best way to adjust gauge is to remove the wheels. It is a more time-consuming process but it’s far more easy to get the gauge correct when you can grasp both wheels.
