Model Railroader 2026 Calendar
Don't miss Model Railroader’s all-new 2026 calendar, featuring Rod Stewart's spectacular layout!
Why not use the little sponge on a stick from micro mark , instead of the cotton swabs?

Good, helpful tips Aaron. Always has been one of my problem areas of modeling and I’ll incorporate some of your steps into mine. Appears from the outtakes, you’ve been watching Cody’s Office!
Good tips. Seems everyone has their own favorite method of applying decals. As someone once said: “What ever works for you.”
Very nice! I find that dampening the cotton swaps discourages the decal from sticking to them. Decals LOVE to stick everywhere except where you want them.
