  1. On an HO model they are fairly easy. N scale is another thing. I done them and they can be frustrating. Necessary but frustrating,

  2. Cody, I use a label maker. Mine set to the smallest size works perfect for HO scale. I can change the background color and even the font style. It works awesome and looks great!

  3. Great video. I would like to see a video on applying large decals on a large building with very pronounced brick work.

  4. Hi Dennis, I would try to using a inkjet printer, just use a paint
program to make a decal. Good work Cody on video…

  5. I didn't think it would be that easy! However, in N scale, it might be a little difficult.

Also, could you use an inkjet printer and dry-transfer decals?

  6. Great video.
Can you apply the same techniques to the clear plastic number boards that come with the locomotive??

  7. Hello Cody,

Another excellent video in the how to series……keep up the good work.

I do have a question, How would one go about decaling number boards using white numbers and yet still be able to light them up?

So far for my road I am stuck for the time being by using black numbers on a white background in order for me to light them up.
