Dana reviews Bachmann’s new HO scale Alco S-2 switcher. Part of the Sound Value line, the switcher comes equipped with a DCC sound decoder, and we put it through its paces in this video.

Mine stalls intermittently on an operating layout. A friend of mine is experiencing the same problem. Both of us operate on a regular basis. Bachman sends the loco back saying nothing is wrong. Any suggestion?

The video states the complete review of the Bachmann S2 is in the Feb 2013 issue of MR. It’s actually in the Jan 2013 issue.
