Trainfest is right around the corner

That’s right, America’s largest operating train show is just two weekends away. The show, perfect for all ages, will be held November 12th and 13th at the Wisconsin State Fair Park. Hundreds of booths, including manufacturers and retailers, will be featured throughout the weekend. Come enjoy a variety of operating train layouts, free seminars, and activities for children. Also happening on November 13th is the Trains.com photo charter featuring Soo Line steam engine No. 1003. See information for this and more down below.

Location

The train show will be held in the Wisconsin State Fair Park’s Exposition Center. 8200 W Greenfield Ave. West Allis, WI 53214. Please note, there may be a parking charge of $10 per vehicle or $5 per motorcycle to park at Wisconsin State Fair Park during any event, credit card only.

Tickets

Two-day tickets – These tickets are good for all day Saturday and Sunday. They only cost five cents more than an all-day Saturday ticket.

Saturday Tickets – These tickets are good for all day Saturday

Sunday Tickets – These tickets are good for all day Sunday with adults being 25 percent off Saturday’s price and children being 50 percent off.

Livestream

You heard that right! The successful livestreams from the 2019 Trainfest will be back again during the 2022 show! Join the Trains.com crew at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm on Saturday, Nov. 12th in the Kalmbach booth and throughout the show floor. Michael Gross and Gerry Leone will be hosting all three livestreams. If you can’t make it to the show, these will be streamed to Trains.com.

Live steam

From livestream to live steam, Trains Magazine will be sponsoring a special photo charter featuring Soo Line Mikado No. 1003. The photo charter will take place just north of Milwaukee, allowing fans of model trains and the prototype to experience the show on Saturday and the charter on Sunday.
