  • See-through etched metal running boards and crossover platforms
  • Prototype-specific brake systems, outlet gates, roof hatches, jacking pads, roof overhangs, end ladders, brakewheel housing, and brake wheel
  • Separate air hoses
  • Wire grab irons and uncoupling levers
  • With or without shaker brackets as appropriate
  • CNC-machined 36” wheels
  • 100-ton Barber S-2 trucks with rotating bearing caps and separate brake beam part

Road names: Family Lines with Louisville & Nashville reporting marks (December 1980 beige); Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe (October 1979 delivery gray); Family Lines with Seaboard Coast Line reporting marks (July 1980 beige); Illinois Central (1997+ gray repaint with herald, six road numbers); Lapeyrouse Grain Corp. with NAHX reporting marks (June 1978, four numbers); Pullman Leasing (March 1979 gray lease scheme, six numbers); Soo Line (January 1980 Soo Line White); and St. Louis-San Francisco (Frisco, June 1977 delivery gray). Twelve numbers per scheme unless noted; also available undecorated (ready-to-run and undecorated, both based on 1980 prototype).
