Thrall Corp. TTX class TWF10 single-unit double-stack well car

ClassOneModelWorks.com recently announced that its first HO scale freight car will be the Thrall Corp. TTX class TWF10 single-unit double-stack well car. The model will be offered in the as-delivered (shown), intermediate, and late schemes. The well car is scheduled for release this fall.

ClassOneModelWorks.com recently announced its first HO scale models. Leading things off is a Thrall Corp. TTX class TWF10 single-unit double-stack well car. The model will be offered in the as-delivered, intermediate, and late schemes in two to four numbers each. The ready-to-run car will feature formed, etched-metal see-through walkways, inter-box connectors molded in the on-board storage box, an etched-metal plate in the base of the well, and Waggon Union trucks. The wells can accommodate two 20-foot or one 40-, 45-, or 48-foot container in the well. The Thrall Corp. TWF10 well car will be priced at $65.99.

ClassOneModelWorks.com released pre-production photos of its Thrall Corp. TTX class TWF10 48-foot well car and 48-foot intermodal containers. DTTX no. 54053 is decorated in the as-delivered paint scheme. The car is loaded with two Monon 48-foot exterior-post intermodal containers.

Monon 48-foot exterior post intermodal container

In conjunction with the well car, ClassOneModelWorks.com will be releasing Hyundai and Monon 48-foot exterior post intermodal containers. The Hyundai container will be decorated for Alaska Marine Lines, American President Lines, BNSF Ry./Hub Group, Equipment Management Pool, Hercules Forwarding, North American Container System, and TransAmerica Leasing.

Schemes on the Monon containers will include American President Lines; Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe; Equipment Management Pool; Norfolk Southern/Triple Crown; Southern Pacific; TransAmerica Leasing, and Union Pacific.

Features on the containers will include lifting stiffeners molded into the upper channel, detailed door latches and handles, and locating pins molded into the base. Two two-packs and four single containers will be offered for each paint scheme. Single containers will sell for $15.99, and two-packs will be priced at $29.99.
