The Atlas Summer 2025 HO and N catalog was recently posted on the manufacturer’s website. The 60-page PDF includes new models and signals in both scales, as well several items in new paint schemes and road numbers. All of the offerings are scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2026.
N scale

In N scale, Atlas announced a 53-foot modern reefer trailer ($29.95) decorated for Frozen Food Express, Clipper, England, Go 2 Logistics, Prime Intermodal, and Western. The trailers are offered in four numbers per scheme; a painted white but unlettered version is also available.
Features on the trailer include one of three refrigeration units (early Carrier, late Carrier, and Thermo King), standard and quilted barrier end doors, and factory-applied mud flaps and fuel tank. Select paint schemes also have a freestanding tire rack and wind skirts.

New paint schemes and road numbers are being offered on several N scale models, including the Electro-Motive Division GP38-2 and General Electric U23B diesel locomotives. New rolling stock offerings include the American Car & Foundry Pressureaide covered hopper, Pullman-Standard 40-foot PS-1 boxar, Trinity three- and five-unit spine cars, 50-foot double-door boxcar, and standard- and wide-cupola cabooses.

Road names on the CF7 include Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe; Allegheny RR; Amtrak; Ashley, Drew & Northern; Black River & Western; and Blue Mountain & Reading. The four-axle unit is available in two to three road numbers per scheme. The model is offered in two versions: Direct-current with a factory-installed speaker and a 21-pin plug for a Digital Command Control decoder ($219.95) and with an ESU LokSound sound decoder ($339.95).
The newly tooled CF7 has a five-pole, skew-wound motor with dual flywheels, all-wheel electrical pickup, and a die-cast metal underframe. Additional features include several cab and body variations, see-through fan grills with separate fan blades, light-emitting-diode headlights, and illuminated number boxes.

The Ford F-350 hi-rail pickup is decorated for Canadian National, BNSF Ry., Canadian Pacific, Conrail, CSX, Metra, Norfolk Southern, Reading & Northern, and Union Pacific. The model is also available painted white but unlettered. The vehicle is offered with different trim packages (XL, XLT, and 4×4) and optional light bars and caps. The model is priced between $34.95 and $37.95.

New paint schemes and road numbers are being offered on the General Electric U23B and Motive Power Industries MP36PH-3C diesel locomotives. Rolling stock releases include Metra type 6000 and 8500 passenger cars, American Car & Foundry Pressureaide covered hoppers, 68-foot flatcars, bulkhead flatcars, and standard- and wide-cupola cabooses. Atlas is also offering its modernized heavyweight coach with new tooling.

A variety of new signals were announced in the Atlas Summer 2025 HO and N catalog. Hooded modern signals (single and double head, left and right hand; bi-directional; and head only) are available in N scale. In HO scale, the manufacturer announced a Type H-2 dwarf signal and searchlight signal (head only). Both are offered in two-packs.
The catalog also featured Limited Edition Collectors’ Series models in N and HO scale. The one-time releases will not be produced again.
