Price: Direct-current model with factory-installed speaker, $139.95 (undecorated, $129.95); with dual-mode ESU LokSound sound decoder, $249.95 (undecorated, $239.95).

Era: 1950s through 1980+ (varies depending on paint scheme)

 Alco RS-series diesel locomotive features:

  • Accumate couplers
  • Blackened metal wheels
  • Directional golden-white light-emitting-diode lighting
  • Factory-applied plastic handrails and stanchions
  • Scheduled for release in second quarter 2023

RS-3: British Columbia Ry. (two-tone green); Burlington Northern (Cascade Green and black); Delaware & Hudson (gray, blue, and yellow); Erie Lackawanna (black and yellow); Louisville & Nashville (gray and yellow); New York, New Haven & Hartford (orange and black); and Pennsylvania RR (Dark Green Locomotive Enamel). RSD-4: Central RR Co. of New Jersey (green and yellow). RSD-5: Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe (blue and yellow) and Chicago & North Western (green and yellow). Two road numbers per scheme, also available undecorated.
