Berwick Forge & Fabricating 50-foot boxcar features:

  • Accumate couplers
  • Blackened metal wheels
  • End ladders and brake gear
  • Late sill variation
  • Non-terminating sine wave ends
  • Overhanging X-panel roof
  • Prototype-specific doors (ICG-style; SIECO, with placard when appropriate; Superior-style; and Youngstown)
  • Separate, factory-applied wire grab irons
  • Scheduled for release in second quarter 2023

Road names: Illinois Central Gulf (orange and black), Arkansas & Missouri (maroon and yellow), Canadian National (Oxide Red with “wet noodle” herald and website), Finger Lakes Ry. (red and gray, one road number), Maine Central (Harvest Gold and green), North Louisiana & Gulf (green and white), Ontario Northland (blue and yellow), and Seaboard System (North Louisiana & Gulf patchout, two numbers). Three numbers per scheme unless noted; also available undecorated.
