  1. Thanks for the comments guys.
And Jack, thanks for the heads-up about the Strasburg Railroad. I occasionally do visit their web cam but was completely unaware of their Christmas tree excursions. I hope I don’t get a cease and desist letter from their lawyer!

  2. The Strasburg Railroad has a steam train that does exactly this… For two nights about two weeks ago, they had one of their steam engines pull a special train to a tree lot set up at the end of their passenger line in Paradise PA. Passengers have 45 minutes or so to get off the train, select and purchase their tree while enjoyimg hot chocolate and other food items. Then their tree purchases are loaded on a special flat car and taken back to the Strasburg station where tree buyers get them off the flat car and load them in/on their cars for the trip home. It seems to be a very popular train run especially for the kids, I think there may even be a “santa” on board too.

Those folks at Strasburg know what they’re doing, There are live,24-hour cameras set up at each end always streaming videos of their operations. Look them up!

    (call me Jack).

  3. Loved the deer and the skier. It’s always the small touches that helps the imagination run wild. Thanks for making some video cheer! 🙂

  4. A very nice video of a useful Christmas service by the local trolley line. The scenery fit the story and the extra car at the end to carry home the trees was a nice extra.
