I wonder if it would be possible to remove small debris from the speaker by using the “hose tool” on most vacuum cleaners, possibly with the cushion crevice tool attached to concentrate the suction over a smaller area? I had never heard of or seen the magnetic tool for cleaning a layout, but it looks like a great thing to have.

Is there any problem in using a small but reasonably powerful magnet (instead of the tweezers) to remove the debris from the locomotive speaker?
