  1. Cody, I have been model railroading for 60 years. I am on my 7th layout. Through all thewevielayouts, ballasting has always and I mean always been the least looked forward to job. I so wish there was a ballasting fairy! Well, I found the next best thing. Unfortunately, I can only describe its design and action as I have lost all other information. It is a clear plastic box about 2 by 1 1/2 I inches. It has a clear piece of plastic inserted diagonally through the box. The bottom side has two slots that enable you to slide it along the rails. You fill it with ballast and it deposits neatly on the track through slots in the bottom. Both sides and the center all at once.

On the side it has PROSES and a copyright date printed. I remember that it came from Turkey in an amazing four days and the coast was $20.00.

Perhaps someone out there has more information on ordering, etc. without question Cody, this is the best twenty bucks any model railroader could spend. I suggest that you might review it.

    Regards

  2. I tried ballisting before with little luck. you make it look so easy.Iam not one to give up so will try again using your idea.video was great

  3. I know I will be doing this on my model railroad after making a few mistakes (also had a track problem which required taking up the mess and getting out both the orbital sander to smooth the roadbed and vacuum to clean up the layout)

  4. I am just starting out in model railroading , But the vvvideo had alot of information for me to use as I build my first lay out.

  5. Excellent, being new to actually building a layout (instead of just collecting) I found watching the short videos tp be really time effective when learning the right technique, hope to see many more aspects explained this way
