Note that AT&SF RDC’s #DC-191 and #DC-192, built for assignment to the Surf Line, wrecked on January 22nd, 1956 at Redondo Junction in L.A., afterwards both sent to Topeka for repairs, with #DC-192 rebuilt in mid-1957 to RDC-2, both subsequently reassigned to Newton-Dodge City, reassigned in 1965 to El Paso-Albuquerque, both retired in 1968…
