Road names: SD9 — Colorado & Southern (yellow and white frame stripes, both in Chicago, Burlington & Quincy red-and-gray scheme), Baltimore & Ohio (dark blue and yellow), Burlington Northern (Cascade Green and black), and Chicago & North Western (green and yellow with low short hood). SD7 — Bessemer & Lake Erie (orange and black), Denver & Rio Grande Western (“bumble bee” scheme), Electro-Motive Division demonstrator (two-tone red), and Southern Pacific (“black widow” scheme, one road number with orange lettering). One to four numbers per paint scheme.
