  1. This is inspiring, I love the passenger shed with two stubs and pass through inside and outside, I can never get enough of trains at scale speed and like the incorporation of 90 degree crossing, also the NP Berkshire and heavy weight coaches, I have Southern 2716 pulling the same cars, congratulation Mr Novak and thanks for sharing your continuation of the great American Flyer AC Gilbert trandition.

  2. First,William thank you, thank you for using a tripod to shoot your video. The video is beautifully composed and shot. And your layout is a great combination of traditional and contemporary trains and accessories. Wonderful layout and video!

  3. From top to bottom & inside out, this is a really impressive example of what dedication to the craft and hobby + a lot of hard effort (not work if you’re having fun) can produce. From the lad diving off a “country boy (or girl)” diving board to the vast number of other figures and the smooth trackage it is a true delight for all ages. Thanks so much for sharing this magnificent layout with us! All the best ……

  4. Thanks to all. It took me ten years to pull this layout together – one year to get started, eight years staring at it and one year to finish it. It’s a labor of love that I’m always trying to improve one way or another.

  5. Just terrific!! Had an uncle who was a Flyer guy. He would be ga-ga over this show. Nicely done ….colorful and loaded!

  6. That is magnificent, and a total inspiration!

I just bought a new house; and a key priority was a HUGE train room! My 10’ x 12’ will grow by a factor of 3+. I’ll study this video (and the CCT article) of this fantastic layout until I see it in my sleep!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful work.

  7. Bill, I remember when you first started planning the display shelves for this layout well over a decade ago. I was excited to finally see the finishd project. And to see it here in CTT was a nice surprise. The article and video are awesome. Congratulations !!
