A REGULAR ROAD RUNNER: Czech train maker ETS has announced a unique motorized unit to help cut costs on your transit line: the no. 200 Rail-Road-Bus. The model is rigged with rail wheels to provide your O scale patrons with a smooth and comfortable commute into Traintown. The vehicle costs $159 in two- or three-rail versions; add $59 for AC power. UK TOY TRAINS: Michael Foster has published the second volume in a planned four-volume series called British Toy Trains, Book 2 covers Dunham, White & Betal, British Marx, and trains by A. Wells. The book includes trains, accessories, and rolling stock, along with electric, clockwork, and floor toys. Marx collectors will note that there are 53 pages of Marx content! The 144-page book includes 200 photos and costs $25 plus shipping. The nos. 279-3377 flat with Trailways bus load, the 279-3432 flat with US Army bus, and 279-3449 flat with US Army van. GET TO THE HOSPITAL (or cemetary) IN STYLE: Diecast Direct has developed an O gauge retro vehicle to meet your 1930s-40s medical and funerary needs (all models based on a 1937 Studebaker service vehicle). Ambulances include the nos. AHM43-101 (white with red cross) and AHM43-102 (red and white with cross). Hearses include the AHM43-103 (red), AHM43-104 (silver), and AHM43-105 (white). All vehicles have an opening rear door.
