Ed Berry is just one of the many current layout builders who use a section or two of the O gauge layout they have recently finished as a way to display some of the die-cast metal vehicles they collect. On his three-rail display in Kinston, N.C., he specializes in miniature Corvettes, and so has arranged for a show of the sleek and sporty Chevys to be scheduled near the line where a Southern Ry. Alco RS3 from Atlas O has been assigned to a daily freight train. The structures nearby belong to the lines marketed by Bar Mills, Lionel, and Menards. As for the eye-catching automobiles, Ed reports they are sold by Ertl, Franklin Mint, and Yat Ming.
