Jim Kelly has been modeling in N scale since 1970. In 1977, he joined the editorial staff of Model Railroader and stayed until his retirement in 2002. There, he had the privilege of learning from such pros as Jim Hediger, Bob Hayden, and the inimitable Gordon Odegard. Jim’s 20 x 20-foot N scale layout draws him to his basement nearly every day.
