Kalmbach Media is reinstating a tradition that began in the 2000s. On Friday, Nov. 22, modelers, railfans, and train lovers are invited to take their trains to work to celebrate the national Take A Train to Work Day.

Whether it’s the prized locomotive of your fleet, a structure you’re particularly proud of, or your favorite caboose, take it to work on Nov. 22 and share it with your colleagues.

Give those who are not involved in the hobby a chance to see why model railroading is fun and perhaps even convince them to join you.

If you don’t have a model or collectible locomotive, but you love trains, then ride a commuter train to work and share your experience on social media with the hashtag #TakeATrainToWorkDay.

Nov. 22 is also the perfect day to take and share your train pictures and Railroadiana from your collection on social media.

Make sure to use the hashtag #TakeATrainToWorkDay so that we can easily find, like, and share your Take A Train To Work Day posts.
