  1. My 5 year old grandson and I enjoyed building this. He built the stop and a carriage by himself.

    Markus I have a moc of a German loco and it has been an exercise in frustration. OTOH the Gp40 I got from AliExpress has been a joy.

    In Germany there is a company selling lego compatible constructions brick sets from different manufacturers and they also selling own sets. In the last few years they are known here for their portfolio of train related construction brick sets. Mostly of german prototype, but also from locomotives and wagons around the world. They are offering some american themed locomotives and wagons. E.g. a EMD E and SD 50 unit, with matching freight wagons, also they had an Amtrak Engine and some Amtrak coaches, and they are offering a brick built Big Boy.
