Trains LIVE — Season two begins 1-31-2024 — No big fanfare, please. This is premier week for season two of Trains LIVE. We have a few changes coming down the line, in addition to new episodes taking you behind the scenes of railroading.

Change No. 1 — Our video production team has been working with the audio portion of Trains LIVE and found the discussions within the program to be intriguing and dynamic in and of themselves. While Trains LIVE in both sight and sound paints a solid image of the topic at hand, the audio alone also tells a good story. We have now launched the Trains LIVE audio as a podcast. You can find the Trains LIVE podcasts on sites like RSS.com and Apple Podcasts.

Bob Lettenberger (left) and Bryson Sleppy, Model Railroader associate editor, will co-host Trains LIVE during season two of the program.

Change No. 2 — We welcome a new co-host to the program. Bryson Sleppy, Model Railroader associate editor, will now be Bob’s partner in exploring all-things trains and railroads. Bryson brings a wealth of knowledge regarding contemporary railroading to the program. His perspective spans the spectrum from model to prototype trains. With Bryson on board, Trains LIVE will truly present discussions covering all aspects of a topic.

Welcome to season two. We hope you will continue to enjoy our unscripted, behind-the-scenes railroad explorations.

Come along as Trains LIVE begins season two.

Trains LIVE is a regular video program, recorded live and unscripted from Kalmbach Media. The series began in July 2022.

Trains LIVE features Bob Lettenberger, Trains associate editor, Kalmbach Media staff, and guests talking about railroads and trains in a casual, behind-the-scenes format. On Trains LIVE we will ask the questions you would like to ask and take you into places not normally open to the public. Trains LIVE also takes you on the road to museums, trackside locations and other railroad-related venues. It is presented every other Wednesday at 2 p.m. Central time.

If you have questions or comments, please log-in and leave a comment in the area at the bottom of the page. We will attempt to answer questions during future episodes.
