In this all-new instructional video series, Host David Popp explores T-Trak, a modular system for building tabletop layouts for model railroads. Whether you’re a seasoned model railroader or a beginner, T-Trak offers a portable and space-efficient solution. The modules are typically in N scale (1:160), and David demonstrates the assembly of a kit from RSA Laser Kits, including cleaning up laser-cut micro-plywood parts, assembling corner modules, and adding adjustable feet. David also emphasizes adherence to T-Trak standards for seamless integration and discusses future steps like track installation and wiring.

Leaving small inconspicuous holes in the scenery above the adjustable feet lets you level the module from above using a long 1/8″ hex wrench. I can tell you from experience setting up T-TRAK layouts with my club, it makes leveling the modules a lot easier and quicker.
