Follow along as David share his techniques for adding trees, detailed ground cover, and even placing a few authentic figures into the scene. Sound was pretty hollow but no worries. It is the scenery techniques that were so easily followed. Nice work, David! Great filming Jenny!
David this On30 layout just keeps getting better and better. I have watched this one from day one. It’s come a long way since it was at the Kalmbach workshop.
The scenery and the backdrop really make this railroad come alive. It’s the little details that really make it come alive. Yor attention to detail is great, and in O scale (which I am as well) you see it all. You also can’t hide as much as in HO.
Keep up the great work, I look forward to the next installment.
Robert
David,
Excellent video. However, your sound is so muted. Are you wearing a microphone? If you are, it is not working. It makes it very difficult.
Series may already be “in the can” but hope you have an episode that has trains running through all the scenes after the scenery work is complete.
Why do you have so many ads on your pages that aren’t removeable? I could care less about hives, hypersexuality, ADHD….
Your sound level was low. I had trouble hearing even with my computer sound level cranked all the way up.
David,
The layout is turning out to be wonderful and I hope you have time to run it sometime. It was at times hard to hear you, but the content was excellent. I hope the whole series will be put a disc so viewers can see how you built the layout from beginning to the day it is finished even though a layout is not usually finished as you always find little changes to be made.
Cheers,
Jeff
David: I agree that it is great work but please work on making your comments more understandable. A little more volume would be good.
As always, David, lovely work. Thanks.
Excellent! Thanks, Jenny and David! Marcus Lee
