Now it’s time for scenery on David Popp’s Olympia & Sand Creek On30 display layout to take shape! In this episode, the efforts begins by adding a few more details, before David works to cover new ground with static grass and a variety of turf and brush materials. Funny how it does not always work out the way you thought it would work and you have to call the audible and amend the process. Glad I’m not the only one.
To echo Eric Schrowang’s comment, original Olympia Part 6 – building a sector plate is still coming up as Private, even though I remember seeing it all those years ago.
David,
Love your videos, very informative. Is there a reason why you are wearing gloves during the scenario application? Are there safety issues using these products or is it just to keep your hands clean? I’m about to do scenery on my railroad so these videos are very timely for me.
Thanks,
Rich
Is there a reason the first Olympia videos are coming up as private?
My apologies, Stan and all…David is talent, crew, and technician for this genuine work-from-home series, and experienced an audio/camera glitch that went undetected for a few episodes.
If the audio issue becomes too annoying, also know that Closed Captioning is available for all new videos posting to Trains.com Video — learn more about the feature here:

The audio is horrible, up and down and so loud it almost drowns out David’s voice.
