  1. I grew up west of Beloit, WI. The MILW from Janesville to Monroe was all too familiar and loved it. The Brodhead to New Glarus line was great too. Actually got to see an ICG unit moving north out of Monroe when I was a kid. Great layout here. Looking forward to the GMR 24 article.

  2. I grew up outside of Monroe and did a “what if “ layout if the Milwaukee would have made it to Dubuque.
    I think Gregg did a super job of modeling the countryside in southwestern Wisconsin complete with cheese factories. There’s a lot of geography and history in that area of the state and he got it right.
