  1. On a former N scale layout, I used clear packing tape on the fascia to dam the river ends and prevent the Envirotex epoxy resin from pouring out onto the floor. It worked surprisingly well with only a little wicking under the tape. No resin spilled, and the tape was easily removed. I’d do this again, if I ever pour a river on a future layout. That said, I since discovered Gel Gloss Medium that I used on my current HO scale layout, so I don’t know that I’ll ever go back to pouring epoxy.

  2. Call me crazy, or just a lazy modeler, but those ISO containers look generator-like, sans muffler.
