  1. I am looking forward to following this project. It looks like a great way to learn the skills and practice them before getting a layout done. Would you be offended if I sent a remote microphone for you to use so I could hear what is being said?

Keep up the good work, it is definitely appreciated.

  2. Hi Artie,
Yes, please leave questions on the most recent Midday Modeler, and we can try to answer them the next time. Also, while the event is live, leave questions in the comment section, and we’ll try to answer them immediately.
    Thanks for watching!

  3. Great to have Midday Modeler back. Looking forward to see what develops. As a purely personal preference I would like the time-period predate Amtrak, but whatever you decide I’m sure that the finished product will be fabulous. Thanks.

  4. Another good episode – glad you brought MM back.
Will there be a place where you will be posting the proposed track plan (rather than having to pause the video to look at it)?
And is this comment section where you can ask a question when watching MM live?

  5. If Steve ever does any more track plan sketching, would love to see what he would do with the Buffalo Union Carolina terminal in Union SC. Within the space of a small city block you get a wye, interchange with SR on a switchback, engine terminal, depot, and 2-3 industries. I’m using the BUC and the Lockhart Branch as inspiration to design my new layout. One interesting note is as I’ve been designing, it dawned on me that the Lockhart Branch was essentially a Timesaver trackplan on the prototype. Looking forward to the new module build series.
