NEW ORLEANS — Amtrak will hold its annual board of directors meeting accommodating public attendance in New Orleans on Dec. 4, 2025, the company has announced.

The meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CT at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, 601 Loyola Ave. The public can attend in person or online; registration is required by Nov. 25 in either instance and is available here.

The meeting will include a briefing from Amtrak executives on financial and operational performance in 2025, an update on major infrastructure projects, and an overview of priorities for 2026. A Q&A session is planned for those attending in person or online.

The meeting continues Amtrak’s practice of holding a December board meeting open to the public at sites around the country. Trains.com has provided coverage from previous meetings in St. Louis in 2022; Richmond, Va., in 2023; and Seattle in 2024.
