LOS ANGELES — Commuter rail operator Metrolink will offer additional service on Monday, Nov. 3, for the Los Angeles Dodgers’ World Series victory parade, the agency announced today (Sunday, Nov. 2). LA Metro is also providing special service, including Dodger Stadium Express buses to the ticketed celebration at the stadium; those buses will be free but an event ticket is required.
For Metrolink, The Orange and San Bernardino lines will each see an extra inbound and outbound train, while the Antelope Valley Line will see an extra inbound train. The additional trains will mean Metrolink has 10 San Bernardino County Line trains arriving at Los Angeles Union Station before the parade’s scheduled 11 a.m. start, as well as six each on the Antelope Valley, Orange County, and Ventura County lines, and four on the 91/Perris Valley and Riverside lines.
LA Metro information on parade service is available here.
Metrolink’s $15 SoCal Day Pass will offer unlimited rides on the day of purchase; Metrolink riders will also have free transfers at LA Union Station to LA Metro light rail and bus service to the parade route and the Dodger Stadium buses. Seven Metro light rail stations are near the parade route, as shown in the map above.
Metrolink’s additional trains are:
— Antelope Valley train No. 298X, departing from Vista Canyon station in Santa Clarita at 7:52 a.m. and arriving at Union Station at 9:02 a.m.
— Orange County inbound train No. 699X, departing Oceanside at 7:36 a.m. and arriving at 9;37 a.m.; outbound train No. 698X will depart LA at 1:55 p.m. and arrive in Oceanside at 3:53 p.m.
— San Bernardino inbound train No. 315X, departing Montclair at 7:57 a.m. and arriving in LA at 8:59 a.m.; outbound train No. 334X will depart at 3:10 p.m. and arrive at San Bernardino Downtown at 5:13 p.m.
Metrolink encourages those traveling to the parade to take advantage of regular, earlier trains because of limited capacity. More information, including full schedules for the three lines with added service, is available here.
More information on the parade and stadium event, including a link to tickets for the rally that go on sale at noon PT today, is available at the Dodgers website.

I didn’t watch the game. Question, did the Dodgers win via the Ohtani Rule, or did they win fair and square by the real rules.
Since MLB is now nothing more than a betting shop, let’s lay a bet on whether or not LA will descend into a riot. Anyone want to lay odds?
As they say, MLB (along with NBA and NFL) has made the betting industry more corrupt than the betting industry used to be.
Charles,
Baseball has come full circle. Do you remember the Chicago Black Sox scandal from 1919?
