NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. — R.J. Corman Railroad Group has promoted Korey Colyer to chief strategy officer and John Tudor to chief administrative officer and chief of staff.

The appointments, announced on Tuesday, mark the culmination of senior leadership transitions that R.J. Corman says positions the company for continued growth and innovation.

Colyer has been the driving force behind R J. Corman’s mergers and acquisitions for the past decade, personally developing the strategy and leading efforts that have doubled the company’s short line railroad portfolio through the successful addition of 10 short line railroad operations. As chief strategy officer, he now additionally oversees legal, procurement, shop services, and government affairs.

Tudor, in his dual role as chief administrative officer and chief of staff, will oversee the administrative functions of information technology, people services, graphics, communications, and public relations. He also will coordinate key priorities across the executive team, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with company objectives.

“We are delighted to recognize Korey’s and John’s ongoing contributions with these well-deserved appointments,” R.J. Corman Railroad Group CEO Justin Broyles said in a statement. “Their leadership, experience, and unwavering commitment to our mission will be instrumental as we look to the future. With this remarkable senior team now in place, R.J. Corman is better positioned than ever to deliver value for our customers, employees, and partners.”
