
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Tobias Bauer has been named president and CEO of Siemens Mobility North America. The appointment, announced last week, is effective today (Dec. 1, 2025).
Bauer, who has been with Siemens for more than 20 years, will lead more than 4,500 employees in the U.S. and Canada.

Since joining Siemens in 2004, Bauer has held leadership roles in Europe, India, and North America, including assignments in New York, Massachusetts, and California. He has been acting CEO in North America since July 2025, after being appointed president of the North American Rolling Stock Division in January 2025. Previously, he had been vice president of rail infrastructure, a position he had held since 2021. He will continue as president of rolling stock.
