Railroad CEOs to highlight MARS Winter Meeting

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — The CEOs of BNSF, CPKC, and Union Pacific are among speakers scheduled to take part in the annual Midwest Association of Rail Shippers Winter Meeting, set for Jan. 13-15 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel.

Mars logoRegistration is available here, and is $395 through Dec. 12, $450 thereafter, and $500 at the event. Hotel reservations, $174 per night at the event rate, are available here until Dec. 22 or when the room block is full.

Scheduled to join CEOs Katie Farmer of BNSF, Keith Creel of CPKC, and Jim Vena of Union Pacific will be Janet Drysdale, chief commercial officer at Canadian National, as well as these speakers:

— Mike Barth, vice president, transportation & logistics, United Sugar Producers & Refiners Cooperative;

— Anthony Hatch, president, ABH Consulting;

— Ian Jefferies, CEO, the Association of American Railroads;

— Katie Beardslee Kloentrup, senior digital mine engineer, Carmeuse;

— Dr. Christopher Kuehl, managing director, Armada Corporate Intelligence;

— James Pearce, vice president, people solutions, Savage;

— Alex Peiffer, chief operating officer, Intramotev;

— Christian Rowe, vice president, development, Savage;

— Michelle Schultz, vice chair, Surface Transportation Board;

— Lorie Tekorius, CEO, The Greenbrier Companies.
