WASHINGTON — Amtrak will live stream an upcoming board of directors meeting, set for Thursday, July 31, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. ET, the company has announced.
Those wishing to view the meeting must register in advance on Zoom. There will be no in-person attendance or public question-and-answer session.
The company says expected topics will include an update on the start of NextGen Acela operations; reports from the finance and commercial divisions, a National Network strategy update, and a capital project delvery review.
The board also live streamed a meeting in May [see “Amtrak board meeting reveals …,” Trains News Wire, May 22, 2025]. The company has also held fully public meetings — with the public in attendance and Q&A sessions — in recent December, with events in St. Louis in 2022; Richmond, Va., in 2023; and Seattle last year.
