We visit Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4005 at Denver’s Forney Museum of Transportation, one of only two Big Boy locomotives housed inside. It is also the only Big Boy ever converted to burn oil for fuel and the only one to suffer a major derailment. We talk with the Forney’s Al Frank and Kayla Stieber about this famous railroad relic.
