SASKATOON, Saskatchewan — Canadian Pacific says one of its trains derailed about 6:15 a.m. in Saskatchewan.
Media in Western Canada are reporting that the derailed and caught fire, with multiple outlets posting images of large flames illuminating a pre-dawn darkness.
Local police have closed a highway in the area. Today’s derailment happened in Guernsey, Sask., near where a Canadian Pacific crude oil train derailed and caught fire in December.

Actually, I have it on good authority that the perpetrators were a detachment of the Bushveldt Carbiniers acting in retaliation for the executions of Morant and Woodward. The only way to stop this is to load relatives into a car and run it directly in front of the locomotive.
Not to get paranoid, but 2 oil derails in the same locale in 3 months with 2 different carriers. A large dose of coincidence.
Lets hope one of the special paint job units was not involved? As a TE&Y employee on another railroad, the LAST thing I would give a crap about is what the paint job was. I’d be more concerned with the crew.

Not two different carriers, same carrier, both times it was Canadian Pacific train that derailed.
In the area this train derailed, it’s far more likely that any “terrorism” of this kind would be done by the pro-pipeline crowd, rather than pro-environment people
John R. The same thought crossed my mind also. There are eco-terrorists I wouldn’t discount doing something like this to support an agenda.
