Theme: Location: Somewhere near the coast in north central New England Time period: Sometime between 1957 and today.
Description: A freight train passes through the New England coastal town of Cabotport.
Originally a small shelf layout in my home office, the railroad has been relocated to the attic and is expanding. Regular service is now available between Cabotport and Galloway, a mill town located up river.
Love the sound effects and the way you run your trains slowly.
Great video and the sound effects are awesome. Beautiful layout and train consist. Thanks for sharing.
Really charming; fascinating how you can do so much with proprietary items.
Man, I really like the look of this layout. You get a lot of atmosphere going with your scenery and your structures, Well done.
Things I like:
+ great, stable video. (tripod, I am sure – others please take note)
+ nice mix of closeup and mid range shots
+ clever use of sounds
+ and I, too, like the train speeds in this setting, well done!
Hi David,
Thanks for the nice comments.
I do like slow trains – I’m in no hurry!
Super fine! You have it all, great landscaping, slow moving trains and great video work.
Thanks Gary.
I checked out your Gotham City layout video. Looks great. Nice environs – some of the residents seem to be a little suspect though…
Beautiful layout! Love the rockwork and detail.
