Atlantic City Express Service
Three casinos, NJ Transit, and Amtrak combined efforts to offer a special train to Atlantic City, N.J. It runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from New York's Penn Station to Atlantic City with one stop in Newark, N.J. The trains make the 143-mile trip in under three hours. The purpose of the train is to promote Atlantic City offerings to New York City professionals who'd rather not battle traffic.
