CLASSIC TOY TRAINS "BUILD A SCENE" CONTEST!

First Prize: $500
Second Price: $300
Third Prize: $200

In addition, payment for the article will be made at our standard per-page rate.

For this contest, a scene is described as an area of an O or S gauge layout measuring between 12 x 12 inches and 4 x 4 feet and depicting a single focal point. Scenes slightly smaller or larger than those dimensions may be entered and will be judged on a case-by-case basis. A scene can also be a stand-alone diorama or module. A scene may be based on a real or imaginary setting and depict a town, a depot, an industry, a roundhouse, a yard, a bridge or tunnel, a harbor, a landscape formation, or anything that looks convincing. The area within the scene must be finished and detailed, and it should include at least one section of toy train trackwork. Examples of various eligible layout scenes can be found on ClassicToyTrains.com/layoutgallery.
